Confirmation bias much?
Be warned. The latest season is not balanced reporting. It is biased. If your down for that, listen by all means. If you’re not, read on. So, wow. The host is doing exactly what you they accuse the documentary of doing… painting a narrative to prove a point. It’s not even worth fact checking any info shared because clearly there is no drive to look at things from many angles. The purpose of this podcast is to prove the mother an abuser. Here’s the thing; maybe she was, I have no idea. Neither does the host because it’s impossible to know. Just listen to the part about text messages after the death. They say “Ketamine girl” was used because of a HIPAA violation. Give me a break! That is 100% speculation yet the show presents it as likely true based on that’s what the police officer does when he texts Drs. Protecting kids is of course the priority. But bias can cause a ton of harm too. Check yourselves.

Very much enjoyed the deep dive into the unique circumstances of these cases. Interviews with fathers were captivating and heartbreaking. This is going to be great info for so many.

Important story, well told, and well-produced.I can’t stop listening. The true crime addict in me is hooked. And I’m glad this will increase awareness about this form of child abuse to help prevent more children from being harmed.
