I remember when I first met Demilade at a Masterclass for Entrepreneurial Leadership at the African Leadership University, In Kigali, Rwanda in 2019. I distinctly remember how he captivated us with the new approaches to teaching and learning he had put in place and how they went about accrediting such. Then we went on to discuss furthering entrepreneurship on the continent over lunch and at a local Mexican restaurant. That’s right “Mexican” in Kigali. It goes to show that some times you don’t have to live at the origin or right by the source. However, with an entrepreneurial mindset, you can take what you love about the world and bring parts of it home with you, where you deem home to be. Like the amazing Mexican food, I tasted in Kigali.
