Teaching us to love history
I have been reading and listening to Heather Cox Richardson for some time. I love her. When she gives the historical perspective it gives me hope for our country. If we could make it through the Civil War, Reconstruction, the big business era, and still keep our democracy, we can get through this present assault on democracy. Of course, we can’t just leave it to others. We have to speak up, speak out, and do what we can. I look forward to getting to know Joanne Freeman.
