Quick thoughts
1st off…. You won’t be able to forget that they are “historians”. They make that very clear. Additionally they take a view that is passive aggressive on the left. History is not about facts, it’s about the delivery of those facts. So for the critical race theory discussion. It might be easy for a “historian” to defend parts of that theory. But they don’t acknowledge the fact that how it’s being rolled out is not how historically it was designed as. The roll out to schools is history based on an agenda. As “historians” they need to see not just what something like critical race theory was designed as, but how it’s being applied to today.
