I was pleased to hear in this podcast that for once there was a distinction and clarity that description of foster parents are identified as such. All too often they are described as mum, dad and nana. It appears on the surface that the biological family were not being given much support or assistance from authorities in the process which appears directed at a an outcome of adoption by the much more financial foster family that were providing all the material things that the children could probably dream of within their biological parents home. I am not doubting that the foster parents were good caring people but all too often it’s being forgotten that this darling child is lost to both families. I would like to know if the older sister has greater contact with her natural family and if she is still placed with this foster family.
