Some woeful questioning of the Nanna in ep 1. I think that is what leads listeners to perceive there is a prejudice against the foster family. We all know there are problems with government services regarding children, however, we wouldn’t need them if parents didn’t have various life controlling issues and battles which negatively impact on the child. I do have the utmost sympathy for the bio parents and I’m wary of government services overruling the rights of individuals and parents, but still. From the evidence, I don’t think this is evidence of a class struggle. All in all, podcast is about the tragic disappearance of a child who happened to be in care.

Thought it would be better, a bit slow and tedious to listen to. Not sure if I like how she depersonalises the fosters. Not all foster carers are bad people. Do feel sorry for the real parents though ... must so hard for them.
