First, I have to issue a disclaimer that I work with Nurse Papa. Now, that could be good or bad, depending how our relationship is, right? His podcast exudes the real man behind the voice. He’s introspective, insightful, funny, and comically honest. Not only is he one good dude in the flesh, his...Read full review »

As a nurse and a mom I was drawn to this show. There is so much to relate with. I love the stories and the advice that is given, I have seen myself taking notes and using the tips from the “dear, nurse papa” segment. My kids love it too… the calming voice helps drift them to sleep when I take a...Read full review »

This podcast has been my son’s and my friend, often during bath time, since it began and we both sing and squeal with delight when we hear its opening harmonica and baby voices. In times when we’ve both felt a bit deprived of social banter it come through, like a regular in old British pub, full...Read full review »

My daughter is 23 now. Listening to Nurse Papa made me miss her as a toddler. I was discovering how to be a dad, she was discovering the world around her. Nice podcast with some humor and heart.

It was a shocking day when I realized my parents didn’t know everything. And a beautiful one when I realized that they too were just trying to figure it out. I like this podcast very much, not least because it confirmed some of the progressive parenting style that came naturally to me. The reason I’ve returned to it is the sense of having a chat with another dad for longer than I ever manage at the park where little humans demand or require attention...Read full review »

Nurse Papa takes the mundane experience all parents go through and makes it sound fun, witty, and enjoyable. I’m sure he’s seen it all as a pediatric nurse, but he doesn’t take the condescending tone some parenting “experts” sometimes have. I look forward to seeing how the show develops, and have...Read full review »
