Excellent and hoping for LGBTQ inclusivity
I was thrilled to find an ER-nursing-focused podcast that is Canadian. I'm getting so much out of each topic discussed, and I really appreciate the research and preparation that's evident in each episode. My only qualm is with the fact that there is never any mention of trans and nonbinary people. There are great discussions that are very binary in terms of gender and that feels so reductive to me. I would really love to see Canadian nurses be more inclusive and focus less on binary, restrictive gender language. Pregnancy is something that can occur in trans men, risk of cardiovascular disease is increased in the trans population (especially among trans women), etc. Accessing health care is often a source of anxiety for queer people, so having nurses with a great platform such as this podcast use it to spread inclusive information would be refreshing and vital.Read full review »

I’m working my way through all of the episodes. I’m wondering if this podcast is still running and will be producing new episodes? I really hope there’s more to come!

Landon and Monique are very fun to listen on the way to work. I’ve laughed a few times on the bus, and people were just frowning at me haha Thank you for all your hard work, and I hope you keep making new episodes!
