Disordered eating
Some episodes feel really balanced and objective. There is just clearly anti-fat bias going on. You’re more likely to develop an eating disorder than lose weight successfully and sustainably and yet doctors continue to promote restrictive diets. It’s attitudes like these that keep patients out of doctors offices getting essential preventative care for life-threatening issues. I wish the Dr.’s would at least acknowledge the mountain of evidence showing we don’t have a way for people to sustainably lose weight.
