“This podcast has an expected agenda towards conventional healthcare, medicine over supplements, organic isn’t better, MD over NMD and so forth. That is why I decided to listen, to gain a well rounded perspective of both extremes.
The reason this is getting 1 star is because they consistently state that the data and science supports what their saying, but never link or read the “evidence” on the episode, that would make them more credible and informative. When I listen to podcast with a more natural approach to food and medicine, they are usually referencing the data and linking it so everyone can learn and inform themselves. This podcast definitely is coming from a doctor who approaches all medical conversations as if you are an ignorant person who cannot possibly know anything about the medical field or ask questions contrary to what they present you. If you know, you know. I came to the podcast for evidence based perspectives against the functional medicine movement, this is someone telling me what to do without showing me the facts.
Lastly, I’ll leave you with these questions, the results are why Americans are moving away from blindly trusting the conventional health “experts”. Where do Americans rank on global health? How much money do we poor into healthcare and medical interventions compared to other countries? Are our children healthier? What do cancer rates look like in America compared to other peer countries? What about cancer in children? What ingredients does our FDA approve, but other countries ban?
I’ll come back to this podcast later to see if there is any real evidence shared fact checking going on.”
