Treasurable take on the dark classics
Curling up with this weekly has been the most relished pod fixture of 2022. Michael should not only get a load of Audible narration work offers on the back of this - he is dazzlers at it - but a special public health award. He has a nice voice and a hilariously unique way of deflating the hyped up S&M, sturm und drang vibe of the literary classic with down-home, kindhearted and super sane emotional reasoning which is funny, comforting and rudely irreverent. This is the bedtime story you always wanted, a conspiracy against the hag-ridden author, mustering all their wordsmithery to scare and chill you, with your story-telling uncle, whose message is how much fun you can have when you’ve realised that monsters are mainly just dicks.

I love the idea of this podcast- and I joke was laughing out loud during the first episode! I’ve been telling so many people about this podcast and am excited to go on thus journey with Michael as he discovers and accepts his own beautiful obscurity while reading this novel.
