“Full confession, I have read “Jude the Obscure” and while it’s not my favorite Hardy novel (yes, total dork, I have a favorite Hardy novel...”Return of the Native”), I did enjoy it. But it’s been years, so listening in and getting the commentary is a riot! Cannot wait until the next episode!”

“It’s the podcast I needed 35 years ago. Make that 36 years ago so all the chapters would have been available by the time Jude The Obscure was assigned reading the next year.
Today, I “read” Chapter One. Thanks to M.I.B.’s asides, I think I even understood it.”
