How did Michael Ian Black get so smart?
We all know he’s a legitimate idiot (his words). I found out about this podcast only recently and was intrigued because I love Jude the Obscure. Yes, I had read it before this podcast! Michael is a delightful reader and his insights and interpretations are very wise. [I cringed and got very nervous every time he predicted a murder/suicide.] I enjoyed almost every aspect of this podcast: the tangents; the landline phone ringing; the sneezing. If I could, though, I would lower the rating by half a star for the number of ads. 4.5 stars.

The early tape from this show has been hilarious - I can’t wait for more people to hear it!

This is my exact vibe! I suppose I’m not as obscure as I once thought. Michael Ian Black has always been quirky and delightful, and bringing his point of view to one of the most gorgeous literary minds in English literature is the perfect juxtaposition I didn’t realize I was missing.

I love everything about this podcast! From the (very famous) Michael Ian Black’s soothing voice and hilarious commentary woven throughout the readings to the jaunty musical interludes—this is the podcast you never knew you needed. Literally my only complaint is that it’s only one episode per week.
