“Isy and Amy are individually great but the first episode felt like chatting with two friends who are politely trying to talk about something they’re not that into. Making theories out of things sally wainwright has stated as fact in the press repeatedly over a few years is not insight. I think anyone who is new to the show might love this though! It’s just not a let down for a fan.”
