Oh but the purple goo
This show is a really great blend of New England tropes, really clever writing, and really squishy gore. Imagine Gilmore Girls but super haunted and about a small-town-famous juvenile delinquent, a snarky barista, an eccentric mechanic, and a Buick-sized mystery monster. Epically quotable and full of zingers against capitalism and corrupt city politics, it’s equally funny and horrific.
