Excellent show (for those who already agree with them)
This is easily my favorite podcast; I’ve listened to every episode, and I’ve yet to find something that I prefer to have on in the background while I work. They have a comedy style that comes off as abrasive and potentially offensive to those who are reverent toward the topics they’re covering; this is not the podcast to send to your qanon-brainwashed mother in law to convince her to not drink bleach, because she’ll probably drink the bleach out of spite. Their style is definitely best-tolerated by people who already consider themselves to be skeptics, or are at least used to skeptical worldviews. They cover a huge variety of topics that has more than doubled from when I first started listening, from the mind-numbingly boring to the alarmingly dangerous. As an autistic, I feel as though I’m able to enjoy these crazy experiences vicariously through Ross and Carrie without actually subjecting myself to the situations they investigate that would make me freak out.

Ross and Carrie hit a sweet spot between scientific inquiry and hanging with your best friend at a coffee shop. I can't get enough of this podcast.Read full review »

I absolutely love this podcast. Ross and Carrie are skeptics of the Joe Nickell sort: they investigate with an open mind, and let the evidence lead their judgement. They seem to be compassionate, honest, and sincere, which is what makes the investagative nature of this podcast work. ...Read full review »
