Needs A Little Work
He says everybody has a brand, but there is no "everbody" factor here. Wish he talked to real people and helped them brand themselves in a short 90 second segment. He praises guests but really doesn't get into the weeds with exactly how that celebrity developed their brand. Just praises the brand that they do have. Nothing more here than you can read in People magazine. Never mentions struggles to develop the brand, failures and lessons learned for fine tuning a brand.Read full review »

As a former decades long resident of NYC, and private contractor, I have had direct and peripheral contact with the 1% living there and it is a bubble like no other. Donnie often reflects that mentality, but I give him some slack cause he is a mensch.

This is a very informative and entertaining podcast with one big exception: the ins and outs of the ads are awkward and alienating. We know your podcast needs ads..but you could build in some kind of bridge from editorial to paid advertising. @jheil has a successful version of this.
