Some ok info
Maybe try not alienating your listeners in future podcasts. The sailing community is diverse in the truest sense of the word (not the PC version used today). I was really "warming up" to this podcast until a recent episode regarding the research vessel where Andy describes those not on board with the climate change agenda as not being "rational." If being irrational is wanting data that hasn't been cooked by politicians masquerading as scientists, then I'll wear that title proudly. In the engineering & six sigma world there is a phrase called jumping to solution where someone with an agenda hijacks a problem in order to fit it to their pre-ordained solution. My definition of rational is NOT hyperventalating about the end of the world and removing doubt. Science is never settled- it is always up for questioning and that questioning and debate is what makes the argument stronger. The more villification of doubters that takes place, the more dubious your assertions. Sorry dude- I like sailing, but you may as well have yelled the n-word IMO.Read full review »
