Please ask Senator Cantwell on Monday how she see’s the FAA Reauthorization Bill playing out. It contains everything from what type of baby seats that can be used on an airline, to drones, to landing slots in DC, to mandatory pilot retirement age. Kara, would you rather have a captain with 27...Read full review »

Kara is a stellar interviewer and gets A-class guests. I like that she is well informed on the topic and pushes back in the interview to get at a deeper understanding than having just listened to the guest lecture (which I feel happens in other podcasts). Only rarely do you need to tone it down a...Read full review »

Interesting guests, but the host lacks the humility to realise she is way out of her depth, yet still wags fingers at them if they deviate from her dogmatic views.

Always informative and Kara is a great interviewer.

Been a pivot listener for years, and sometimes listen to this podcast as well. I was excited when she interviewed the author of the anxious generation. In this interview, Cara was unreasonably argumentative with the author even though her perspective is pretty much just because “she is a mother...Read full review »

I really wanted to like this show but between Kara's self serving narcissistic outbursts (I interviewed so and so) and her tendency to interrupt every guest with her half thoughts, it is to frustrating to listen to her. She claims to be a great journalist but a great journalist doesn't...Read full review »

Kara Swisher has a HUGE ego & talks tough but she can be quite gutless. Rather than being an upfront, objective journalist she constantly references personal feelings and beefs with subjects and she will even second guess their opinions, which have bearing on her, after an interview. Her wrap...Read full review »

Swisher pretending should could debate with Jonathan Haidt clearly demonstrated she is an intellectual light weight. She has no business discussing research as her anecdotally driven bias, fragile ego (how dare anyone else be an expert on tech this is my gig), and emotional responses can’t be...Read full review »

You platformed haidt the reactionary nut job that is taking the same almost verbatim argument about television and shifting it to cell phones…. And still failing to propose real solutions to online bulling and why we still live in a society that promotes negative feedback loops.

So strange that an integral part of the show just disappeared with zero explanation. The show is still okay but not as good without the amazing Nayeema :/

There are many incredible topics that Kara talks about with intelligence and candor. Having been an insider and Silicon Valley insider for so many years, she brings a special insight into each topic. Whats hard to listen to, is when she goes on rants about how great she is. She must feel very...Read full review »

I have recently discovered Kara’s commentary and absolutely love her intelligent, brave and curious perspective on the world of tech. Thank goodness we have strong, thoughtful women like Kara who stand proudly for their point of view to look to and be inspired by in this industry.

I’ve learned much from this podcast and Kara’s ability to speak plainly about and to her subjects from. Yes, the relative amount of time dedicated to advertising is greater than any other podcast I’ve heard, and yes, I don’t enjoy swearing (there’s not much of the latter), but if I’ve a...Read full review »

just listen to one of your podcasts and you are not mean. You ask tough questions, and questions that are important and people interpret that as mean, that’s their problem. As you said, what did I ask that was mean, might have been uncomfortable, but it wasn’t me.

Loved the episode with Reed Jobs. He was so very good at explaining things, making it easier to understand how cancer works and what is being worked on to treat it. Keep up the great work, Reed! Thank you, Kara!

Tough fair and direct. Is there a better interviewer? One ding, she shouldn’t lie to her friend Don Lemon about his train wreck Musk interview. Lemon misunderstood and misstated Musk at every turn. Allowed Musk to seem thoughtful and logical in comparison.

Wow, what a well-spoken and classy lady! Why do Americans, like the Silicon Valley guy, have to be so purposefully antagonistic? Her response was 🤌🏻 and insightful. We need more people in our government and running our tech companies like her. New role model for me as a woman. 🌟

I’ll tune in when she has interesting guests but she’s such an awful interviewer and blows so many opportunities to have really interesting conversations. I’m done trying to like this pod. She’s snarky and entitled.

I binged the Burn book. When I heard the start of it, I was going to toss it. I lean right. Instead I chose to listen to a bit to see how crazy She is. The appeal of this podcast is halved without Nayeema’s contribution. She provided a much-needed counterpoint to Kara’s boomer-esque, center-left, thoroughly unoriginal POV. Now the show is unchallenging and a total snooze.

Getting rid of the “just kidding” intro was a good move. Silencing Nayeema Raza was not. Such an intelligent insightful woman. She deserves her own podcast now that there isn’t room at the mic with Kara.
KenVeeZee via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 02/26/24
Love the show, Kara always has penetrating questions. I miss the pre- and post-interview conversation between Kara and Nayeema. It gave an “insider” perspective on the thoughts of the interviewer on the process and how the interview turned out. Wish Kara was still doing that!

I really enjoy the show but I have to wonder 9as do so many others here); what happened to Nayeema? Also, maybe tone down the interrupting as well as minimizing comments that elevate yourself..

I thought she was a great addition to the beginning and ending of each podcast. I found her to be honest, thoughtful, intelligent and provocative. Can you give us a reason ?

Kara - for someone who is always banging the drum to support woman, why so condescending to Nayeema? She’s arguably one of the brightest, young voices out there. I have been a fan of Kara’s for eons and find every episode of this podcast to be “must listen”.
