“Under the guise of “gossip” and “glamor,” a self declared male “expert” on pornography and a woman who is “obsessed” despite not being in the industry herself, deem themselves reliable to retell the story of a minor who was sexually exploited and abused without having ever talked to the minor or receiving her consent to bring up her trauma so publicly. Even worse, they tell the story through interviewers with the PERPETRATORS and the WOMEN WHO RELY ON THISE PERPETRATORS for their living. This is a classic good ole boys cover up. Of course the much older women who chose to enter pornography and were not exploited by their sleazy stepfather who was molesting them after raping them has a different experience... but these “podcasters” use the fact that some adults entered porn happily and consensually to cast doubt on a survivor’s story.
Worst of all, there is no one trained in trauma or child psychology. Of COURSE a girl who was raped at ten is going to be over sexualized and daring. Children are very adaptable and know what behaviors to mimic to survive. Listening to this blatant victim blaming and doubt sowing about an industry that these two are desperate to paint as “glamorous” and “safe” was heart breaking and so frustrating. Please, don’t let the industry fool you. Of course the men who film poor women having sex want you to listen to the stories of three women who got rich off it instead of the millions of poor women who are exploited by porn and the minors they raped. This podcast is a disgrace. Please join me in reporting it for giving a platform to child pornographers and glamorizing child pornography. Sincerely, a minor who was also trafficked into porn as a teen by my sleazy father”
