“Over a third of ep1 is narration, clips + commentary on the films Tarantino and PB are discussing. Some of that narration is solid in its analysis and insight, but there’s too much plot summation and it cuts into the interview too often. Too many clips of films. The interview has no flow, it’s too heavily edited. It feels like a bit of a cheat, like ‘we only have 20 mins of interview, how can we make this into an hour’.”
