Great Topics ruined by annoying & inarticulate host
This show features many interesting topics & people. The show can cover relevant topics in science, the arts, and politics pretty well as long as the guest does all the talking. Unfortunately Christopher Lydon likes to hear himself talk way too much and often ends up ruining the show. He's like that kid in class who thinks he's really intelligent (usually by pulling out words from his vocabulary which are inapt or by citing things that aren't relevant to the actual topic & ends up revealing his true ignorance) and ends up monopolizing the discussion to the detriment of the class.Read full review »

Very informative and varied with a wide debate spectrum. though I must admit I keep wishing for a return to the days of debate and dialogue prior to its present (Autumn, 2009) poetry-centric attitude. But still, worth subscribing to. I appreciate the content, regardless of form.
