Hardly "open", it's more like "big-media" hiding under a name.
After listening to a few just to check that this stays consistent, here's my problem with this podcast. With a name like "Open Source", you'd expect that multiple viewpoints would be shown, and listened to. Instead, you get two opposing sides, and any alternate ideas/views are squelched by the host. Open? Not really. It gets worse. As the "discussion" goes on, his questions get more and more manipulative to make sure the experts don't say what would be the most relative, and are obviously aimed at keeping it inflammatory. Open? Not even close. More like Jerry Springer with less swearing.Read full review »
