Best ATC Podcast (I’ve found so far)
AG and RH... I’m a non-pilot, non-controller, and infrequent flyer, but as a life-long aviation “enthusiast” I find OB interesting, entertaining, amusing, and generally more beneficial than the myriad of other self-help podcasts available. As someone who used to love listening to ATC on the old Amercian DC-10 inflight entertainment systems, you’ve demystified much of the jargon and procedural code talk, though I still spend a lot of time Goggling the more obscure TLA’s (three letter acronyms). I don’t think a 5-star rating does justice to OB. Since 6 stars isn’t an option would it screw up your statistics if I gave you two 3-star ratings instead? Thanks for the great show and what you do for all of us! Bill Blank

I can’t imagine a world where this wasn’t rated 5 of 5. Now I regularly get into situations where I either predict an air traffic controller’s need so I can help them or know exactly why they are asking me something. Great content.

Not only is their podcast entertaining, but I honestly believe they are contributing to safety -...Read full review »

As part of my re-education, there have been a few standout aviation podcasts that I’ve been binge-listening to, and Opposing Bases has been...Read full review »
