“As a professional pilot, flight instructor, and aircraft mechanic I have done my fair share of studying aviation. The mantra always seems to be that the more one can learn in one’s field then the better one can operate; be that as pilot or mechanic. For whatever reason though nobody other than ATC ever really learns about ATC beyond speaking with them through a magical box in the airplane. My student pilots could and will benefit from learning how the ATC system works; perhaps it will even give them some more confidence when learning to speak with the ‘radio gods.’
This podcast has begun to educate me about the world of ATC in a fashion that is both enjoyable and memorable. Some pilot friends of mine and I always enjoy discussing the podcast and what we have learned from the show. Thank you AG and RH for the quality production and top shelf knowledge that you both deliver.”
