Ideal for those with Pilot Saks
Like most people, I have a Pilot Sak to protect my headset from dust, grime, and people without the wherewithal to have a monogrammed sak. But what to say into the protected headset? How to interpret what comes out of the earpieces? That’s where Opposing Bases comes in. The intrepid hosts of Opposing Bases do a tremendous job demystifying the sometimes arcane corners of the aviation world and do it in such a funny and engaging way that my non-pilot spouse even enjoys listening. Not enough that she listens on her own, but enough that she doesn’t make me turn it off in the car. Beers are on me if you’re ever under the Big Arch Bravo, fellas. Several people have referred to this podcast as the “Click and Clack” for ATC. As an avid av-geek and non-pilot, I think that this show is more 80% How Stuff Works” and 20% Hee Haw. RH
