Regrettably, I’ve been away from this show for a minute, but Lord of the Flys eps took me back to high school English period. Great pod for a drive. Sounds like he’s since moved to Patreon or another paywall platform since none of the b*tth*le or ball hygiene corporations sponsored him. Five stars.

Chris is the modern day Rod Serling, but with more back problems and platypuses

I love this pod, Chris breaks a book down so well and his voice is way better than the internal one I get when I read. Can’t wait for more

When me and my mom go on road trips, I pop a couple of these eps on and have a funny laugh and learn for a couple hours. I will miss the free eps, so I guess I’ll have to go and pay. It’s a great show for I’d say all ages, I don’t recall curse words or anything that would be off putting to most...Read full review »

I listen to this with my dog and not only are we both functioning at a higher level but we have in turn become unified as one being with respect to the knowledge found within this podcast. Wood delivers important and founded in truth -facts; that every man, woman -whatever must dare I say HAS TO...Read full review »

Insightful, funny and relatable. Chris bring it all with great subject matter. I love how he links it all to kind of elementary school style comprehension. It’s well produced and easily translatable to modern concepts and I have already used a ton of information I’ve learned from these podcasts...Read full review »

Chris is hilarious, curious and respectful when talking about things new to him. Feel like I'm writing a teacher eval, given the book report format, it kind of fits. This guy is so funny. Keeps referencing someone named Shane, idk who that is - you are hysterical! Go Chris! Go Honda fit! See...Read full review »

I thoroughly enjoyed your take on The Stranger! As a literature teacher, I appreciate your honest, hilarious, and genuine attempt at summarizing and analyzing the deeply philosophical text. Some hearty chuckles were had!! I would love to hear your take on another philosophical novella, Anthem, by...Read full review »

So my friend passed away in August and in one of her last messages to me, she told me this: “…There’s one called oral presentations and it’s this big doofy guy doing research on something and then explaining it, it’s hilarious. He has an IG for the podcast to say what topics he will cover in...Read full review »

Yo oral presentations is the best. I got into Chris Wood after a couple electric Dadmeat & MSSP appearances. Took me a little while to actually dive into a solo educational podcast but if there’s a dude for it, it’s the Woodman. 10/10. Praying it goes passed 100 episodes, but even if it...Read full review »

Chris wood is becoming my new favorite guy from philly. I love all those guys but I think I’d actually hang out with chris regularly. This show is quietly amazing

Hands down the best podcast I have heard. Had to start taking Xanax for depression when I learned that there will only be 100 episodes. Saver the brilliant of Chris Woods like a fine wine. This man is a humble Genius.

Love the podcast, get him on the Patreon too. Don’t stop at 100 Chris! I love how I have about 70-80 topics holstered to gun down any person in a conversation

Woodman is the best. My favorite episode is Magnitogorsk or the magician who used magic to fight Nazis but honestly they’re all great

I took Music Appreciation in college in 1993 and loved it. If Chris was in my class it would have been a hundred times better!
