Eye-Opening and Informative
I've read many articles and listened to oral histories about the incarceration of thousands of Japanese Americans after the bombing of Pearl Harbor. These podcasts gave me more information and insights into the injustices imposed on them and the devastating losses the families experienced. I've written a WWII historical fiction series about this dark time of America's history. The information will be very helpful in planning book presentations. The pacing is very measured and deliberate, and both narrators (Pat Suzuki and Sab Shimono) speak kinda slowly. Great podcast with great interviews. Not sure how I feel about returning to the Washington state fair next fall... but this podcast has shed light on an important part of US history that I sadly knew little about and was always too afraid to ask. Thank you!
