Promising storyline, poor acting
I’m only on episode 10 so far, so bear with me. So far, I’m enjoying the basic premise and the storyline. I don’t think the writing is honestly anything special, but it is passable and certainly not enough to stop me listening. The acting, however, may mean I don’t continue into season 2. Jake’s actor is decent, but a far cry from perfect. Monica’s actress wouldn’t know voice modulation or the meaning of emoting if it slapped her in the face. It gets tiring hearing someone monotonously describe opening a door with the exact same inflection as her reaction to something terrible and horrific happening to a loved one.

It's a great story, extremely well-acted and well-designed, marathoned the first several episodes and I'm looking forward to finding out what happens next!Read full review »
