Great content; poor presentation
The presenters are well-informed and enthusiastic. The subject matter is not well known and the first podcast convinced that it was worth exploring. The presentations are rambling. History of Rome is the gold standard.

Chris Graten (or however you spell his name) is great. I’ve been listening to this podcast for years. I have a graduate degree in Middle East Studies, but I’m not in academia. The discussions are in depth and scholarly but really accessible.

This podcast is like college or graduate history, it is more focused on issues of class, gender, and race than great events or politics and war.
