“Our Fair City is loads of fun. It’s not Shakespeare, it’s not highbrow, and you won’t find self-aware characters in existential crisis. You WILL find endearingly silly heroes and dastardly villains. If ever an audio production could be considered as cartoon-like (in the best possible way), then that description applies here. Toss in a playful script that pokes fun at contemporary society, and you’ve got a little gem.
This sweet little package is supported by a talented cast. It’s evident they enjoy their work, and their enthusiasm is infectious. I was particularly charmed by their silly but clever song parodies. The whole thing is tied up with a bow of polished production quality and fantastic sound effects.”
