This is my very first podcast but to be honest it was the greatest podcast I’ve probably ever listen to recommend it to everyone!

I cannot get into this, made it through all of season two on my third attempt and the story only vaguely comes together or is interesting. Many of the voice actors are chewing the scene so much I had to adjust my skip forward to get past some of it quicker.

This podcast is brilliantly written, very amusing, and fabulously creative. Episode “The Actuaries” always makes me snort laugh. And we have nicknamed cat food in our house “pouge plough”. Thank you for all the hard work you’ve clearly put into this gorgeous gem of a podcast. Live long Heart...Read full review »

Our Fair City is loads of fun. It’s not Shakespeare, it’s not highbrow, and you won’t find self-aware characters in existential crisis. You WILL find endearingly silly heroes and dastardly villains. If ever an audio production could be considered as cartoon-like (in the best possible way), then...Read full review »

NO STARS!!! The actors should not list this on their resumes bc that was the worst piece of CRAP I’ve ever listened to. The acting sounded like it was a two man band (1 man & 1 woman) playing all the characters. It was the stupidest most childish script I’ve ever heard. NO STARS!

hilarious and heartbreaking - it’s very straight for the first ~6 seasons, but fantastic regardless

We all have that book or movie that we weren’t sure about, but kept going with, only to find out it’s amazing. This podcast is one of those. To be honest this took me a couple of tries. I didn’t understand what direction this was going or how the characters fit. But I gave it another go, and let...Read full review »

If you enjoy absurdism, sci-fi, postapocalyptica, steampunk, and old-timey radio, (Even though this isn't steampunk but bear with us) you'll probably love this! But there's one thing I've always told people about this show: "The toilet humor can be distracting, but it's...Read full review »

I honestly loved this podcast until they started pushing a political agenda in the 7th season, very disappointing for them to sell out after all this time. Still a great story, but ultimately tainted by biases.

Episodic humor/sci.fi. set a few centuries in the future in Hartford, during the upcoming ice age. ;) Very funny, with sly references to classic science fiction and some other things (such as a song by Canadian folk singer Stan Rogers).

This quirky audio drama takes place in a corporate-run city in the middle of a post-apocalyptic tundra wasteland. Rather than make it dark and gritty, the creators made a fun story filled with a colorful ensemble cast of characters including: -your friendly neighborhood mole people -a mad...Read full review »

High production quality, reminiscent of classic radio dramas - with a strong nod to modern racy subject matter, and more than a dash of gore. Sounds weird? It is! And, thank our lucky stars, Policies! Made it through four seasons so far, and thrilled there are four more. Dark topics are...Read full review »

An outstanding, darkly funny and often chilling ride through a dystopian corporate future, brilliantly incorporating characters and references from many early 20th century SF and horror classics.

Our Fair City starts off a little slow but that is by design to lure you into the wonderful stories and characters that lurk in Hartlife. Worth giving a listen!

I’ve enjoyed a large number of audio-dramas via podcasts. Some came recommended on Reddit and were not up to the raves. However, OFC is incredible. The characters are unique (and well-acted), the soundscape is tremendous, the story is very enjoyable. Each episode is generally 10-20 minutes, so...Read full review »

Take a shot whenever any character is particular about their name (e.g. “Call me ______” or “Don’t call me ______”) Note to writers: this is not a substitute for an interesting character!

You’ll be quickly won over by the incredible writing, acting, and production of Our Fair City. But the greatest strengths of the show are its brilliantly-realized setting & lore, and its ability to braid tongue-in-cheek sci-fi tropes, humor, and kindness into the smartest social satire in...Read full review »

This is a bit of an odd podcast. But the more you listen the more attached you get! Very unique and always something new going on. This podcast transports you to a strange and terrible future, full of Hartlife citizens simply trying to live their lives the best they can. I love the show, it’s lively and the characters are so weird and lovable. Was it purposeful to have “The old man” the voice of Dr. West voice in the mini serious? I miss the original voice actor of Dr. West. I figured it might be so bc Nathan is telling it and he’s angry at his parents, and...Read full review »
