“I wrote a review before when I was trying out new podcasts and came across this one. All the music seemed a little over done and was pretty annoying. I get the point of it not just being a lecture but really did not enjoy the multiple “music breaks” I guess you’d call them throughout the show. Great music, don’t get me wrong. Sebastian is very talented, just didn’t think it went with the show and more of a distraction from the story. As I continued to listen, my stance on the music stayed the same, but I have a great appreciation for the research done and the way it’s presented. It’s extremely well done. It gets me through the day at work and shines new perspective on historical events that I thought I knew. I would definitely say that I do not align with the political stance taken at times, bias does seem to slip in occasionally, but in the best way possible. He lets you know they are his thoughts and encourages your own research. He makes it seem like it is everyone’s history and his opinion is his opinion, he’s just telling you what it is. I recommend this show whenever I get the chance and have really enjoyed listening. Keep up the great work!”
