Lack of analysis
Incredibly disappointing to hear an entire episode dedicated to your symbolic prize-giving ceremony for Theresa May. I agree, and wholly support, that net-zero by 2050 is a step in the right direction, but the total absence of critique here really devalues the podcast - where was the “outrage”? There was no mention of the role played recently by striking school kids, activists, and, indeed, scientists, in making this an unavoidable political issue - just May’s personal observations of shrinking glaciers while hiking in the Alps? This was not her long-fought passion. If you’re going to celebrate politicians for the good things they do on climate, I think it’s your duty to hold them to account for the bad. It felt like this interview was simply taken as an opportunity to maximise your podcast’s audience than to actually get into the details of an exceptionally important event in climate change politics.

This podcast is to me a reference for understanding the stakes of the climate change crisis. The hosts are brilliant and the guests inspiring. Outrage and optimism is definitely the right blend for tackling this tremendous issue humanity is facing. Thank you!
