Only the perspective of developed countries
I am a big fan but you should invite someone representing a developing county to give a different perspective to climate action. Comparing cigarettes with climate change when talking about fair solutions undermines completely the challenge that climate represents for developing countries. Smokers did not become rich while making others sick. Then, with Mr Gurria, why is no one calling things by its name? He mentioned developed and emerging economies that are transforming their own economies but are at the same time selling coal plants to developing countries with great financing conditions. Who are they? China in Africa and Asia. Who else? This is what should be driving the outrage but it’s not... Are you ever going to talk to a developing country representative?
