Good football commentary, terrible sound production
For the most part, I enjoy the commentary— the hosts are usually entertaining, & quite knowledgable regarding football. When it comes to the technical aspects of producing a podcast, however, these folks really need some help. More often than not, the person talking seems totally unaware of the need to speak into their microphone. As a result, the volume of their speech varies wildly; ranging from almost imperceptibly soft to gratingly loud. The recent episode that I just finished listening to ("Out of the Pocket- You Get a Free Play...") is especially egregious. At least half of the time, voices are almost entirely inaudible. You can hear part of a sentence, then the person speaking obviously turns away from &/or obstructs their mic and can no longer be heard. It's not even consistently quiet—which could be corrected by turning up my volume—but is instead maddeningly erratic. I understand that this isn't professional sportscasting, but for goodness' sake! If having someone there to monitor audio levels is too expensive, ok; if listening to the product before releasing it is too time-consuming, I guess that's possible; but couldn't they at *least* remind guests (& themselves) about the importance of speaking directly, consistently into the microphone?!Read full review »

More reviews of Packers Talk
If you're like me and can't get enough Packers, this is good stuff. It's made up of several shows by different people, and they usually each do a weekly podcast. Packerpedia and Cheesehead Radio are my favorites, but they're all good.

Sad
Not much insight, sometimes funny but after the last recording I'm done listening, after you insult most of your listeners.Read full review »

This is a great pod feed to numerous packers pods. In particular Packers Therapy which has a wry take on the NFL but still shows a great knowledge and love of the game.
