I enjoyed the nuance and entertainment for years but as the humanitarian crises in the world continue to not let up, Sarah and Beth’s takes are no longer providing the truthful, revolutionary framework I need to help me navigate the escalating hostilities of our times. Liberal niceness, continued “trust in our leaders” (words used by both Sarah and Beth repeatedly), and the insistence on coming together to find common ground are not viable strategies, from a critical lens, that will lead to remaking the world in the ways it needs to be to save lives. As a Black woman, their perspectives are at odds with my survival. I’ve left PP and divested my time in interest. I now give and receive my support to DEMOCRACY NOW!
