“This sad story takes place where I grew up. I am from Tolland County, CT. Grew up in Ellington. My parents shipped me off to boarding school in 1963. I only got to attend Ellington High School my freshman year. Maybe this was why they sent me away, I have to ask my 91 year old mother who grew up in Ellington but has since moved to Florida. I remember Crystal Lake. I'm not sure if I ever knew about these terrible tragedies andperhaps now old age has pushed this news out of my brain.I live in the south now, and I'm just stunned to listen to these stories. Wow. I definitly want to talk to anyone from home now. So well written and told. Whew!!! Will ofcourse listen to the rest of Paper Ghosts.”Read full review »

“This is a really interesting deep-dive into these complex cases. For me, it drives me insane that the host says “ex-pecially” instead of “es-pecially”. A minor complaint, all things considered. I love hearing from people who actually knew the victims and that the host really cares about these girls.”
