“Usually steer clear of BBC podcasts and this reminded me why. Egocentric journalism - extremely patronising towards interviewees, and the listener. They discuss their travel schedules as if they are the first people to ever travel for work, it’s bizarre. They describe developing nations as if it’s the ‘50s, constant quips about infrastructure etc. Steve is unbearable and outright inappropriate as an interviewer. Painful. Don’t insert your personality into your work if your personality is trash. I feel angry i listened to 7 episodes haha.”
