Honestly, the lack of consistency and short episode lengths aside the story has gotten off track. From season one with the character ‘David’ having episodes of sleep paralysis and seeing “creatures” coming after him in these nightmares, become tangible killing off his friends on a camping trip. I thought that was great until dreaded season 2 came. After a long time, the story dragged out with long and useless conversations until you realize it’s the end of the episode! David eventually dies at the end of season 2 and it just seemed rushed and sloppy story telling. To me it doesn’t seem like the creators have much of a clue on how to continue this. Main characters gone, a new one with not much of a back story arises it just seems like they lost motivation in this project.”
