Wish I had found it sooner!
This podcast has helped me understand my five year old adopted son more than any other resource! I cringe as I look back at my attempts to follow the guidance of other parenting books. The strategies just didn’t work. I ended up feeling like a bad parent and I inadvertently made my sweet boy feel bad because he couldn’t meet my behavior expectations. Robyn’s advice to “be curious” when he is having a hard time has made a huge difference.

As a foster adoptive mom, episode 80 is gold. Robyn covers so much about the power of vulnerability, self-compassion and how to reframe rupture and repair. So GOOD!
