Do you love Parks and Rec? Do you like character development within the scripted characters AND podcast co-hosts? Then this is the podcast for you! We are taken along on their journey as they tackle one of the best multi-cam narrative TV show’s in the Schur-iverse! Not only do they analyze the small background details of pigeons and carefully crafted oddities from the prop department, but they delve in further into the nature of a fan’s love for the show. Highlighting nuance in the characters and over arching plot points that follow to the end, Joe and Joy make you feel like you’re sitting with your best pals reminiscing the glory of this show. As a listener, one of the best parts of this podcast is seeing out co-hosts grow in friendship, as they LITR’LLY never met and person. I mean they started based on a love for the show. That was gamble that paid off! (We are all routing for the in person meet-up lives how, you both keep theorizing will happen) They also exhibit a true depth and honesty as they evaluate themselves in the light of tough or difficult topics that naturally arise. Not to mention, they have created a fun filled space for the listeners and fans to interact in the Parks and Rewatch Facebook group. Take listen if you want fast podcasting friends! Thank Joe and Joy, it’s always a pleasure tuning in each week. NOTE: Sorry Joe & Joy this originally posted as three stars… Which is totally not fair! This podcast is five stars and this isn’t a revision this is a “I’m sorry i have fat fingers” situations - Jax

I was so impressed at how funny the hosts are and how quickly they meshed together, hard to believe that it is their first podcast together. Can't wait to see where they take it.Read full review »
