Good first season. S2 is a drag.
I very much enjoyed the first season of Passenger List. It was a fun, twisty ride of conspiracy theories and family secrets (although at times it did feel very much like LOST fan fiction). I was hooked as the show explored the assorted people on the plane as well as Kaitlin's quest to find her brother. The second season, however, comes to a screeching halt in terms of plot and story. Whole episodes would go by that didn't advance the plot at all. The show started to rehash old theories and explore new outlets that proved to be dead ends (what was the purpose of the video game?). New characters showed up who added little to the drama. While the show does ultimately provide an answer to the main mystery, it feels like an anti-climax in terms of plot and lacks any emotional connection as by that point, I had stopped caring about these characters.Read full review »

Love it. Even liking the commercials compared to other podcasts. It’s always hard to work those in. I actually started listening to this because the main character drew me in. Not sure it’s on purpose but really appreciating the ASMR!! That is probably the bigger draw for me. 👍

This is a great listen! I’m definitely hooked. I only wish they’d take a tip from The White Vault and not do any ads or credit reading. Those things pull you out of the story pretty quickly.

This podcast is a joke. Melodramatic and phoney beyond belief.
