I feel the journalist is trying too hard to skew the story to fit her theory. She is trying to rationalise a purely irrational act (suicide) with what she thinks is ‘normal’. And trying to rationalise the acts of this poor woman suffering from heavy blood loss. I just don’t think you can look at a suicide through the lens of what a rational person would do - even cursory research will tell you that perfectly ‘normal’ people commit suicide in gruesome and unbelievable ways. I feel for the family, it’s certainly a tragedy regardless of how it happened.
