Stuck pendulum
Overall, it’s a well researched podcast, but I couldn’t help but feel that the presenter was biased in favor of one theory/suspect. The investigation seesaws from murder to suicide to possible murder. While the suicide theory is supported by findings of the pathologist, and even an independent assessment commissioned by the podcast, out it’s never explored how the second murder investigation squares with their findings. The favored suspect is a terrible human, but nothing links him to the crime, and focusing on him for a good chunk of the podcast doesn’t seem warranted at best, and taking focus away from a tragic suicide at worst.

This podcast is so detailed it sometimes slows down the storytelling. While the reporting is quite good and it has a strong focus on the victim’s family, it loses steam and really should have been no longer than 6 or so episodes rather than 13.
