“I don’t honestly know how I very fortunately came across Maisie Hill’s book Period Power but it was at a very important time for me in this last year. I’d just come off the pill after 12 years and had no idea what to expect of my cycle nor could I remember much of how it had been in my youth and my knowledge and understanding of it was awful. This book has been instrumental in helping me through this time (especially during a pandemic) I’m not a 100% there yet with it but without the book I think I’d still be sitting in complete resentment of having a cycle full stop. Having this new podcast by Maisie to go along with the book is only going to add upon helping me move forward in learning to love and understand my body better. Plus audio is a bonus for someone who has reading issues and listening to Maisie say the words herself only helps more.
