That nagging feeling...
I've been listening to this podcast a lot lately, and I want to enjoy it. It is the best typology centric podcast I have yet to find and the hosts are knowledgable and enthusiastic. For the most part I enjoy the show and find it listenable, but I can't help but feel this podcast is just a vehicle to promote their products (which seem rather expensive), which isn't inherently bad, but is distasteful to me. The shows feels superficial when they are buffered with, "Buy this to learn more..." instead of delving into a topic and discussing it openly and wholeheartedly. I am a longtime fan of podcasts as a medium for enthusiasts to indulge in longform audio dialogues about subjects they are interested in. I am not a fan of people co-opting the medium to sell thier wares. As for what they do provide, it is a rough overview of topics that are freely available elsewhere and advertisements for their own interpretations and explainations of existing models at extremely steep prices. I don't doubt their interest in typology or thier interest in making their business successful, but I do doubt their intentions for this podcast. Maybe it's just me and I've grown to expect a depth of information and openness in the media I metabolize, but I'm sure they are doing great things for others.Read full review »

At the same time, it’s fun and approachable, with the topics clearly discussed. I’ve taken their profiler training, and this is a great way to stay connected to the...Read full review »

The Personality Hacker podcast is my go-to listening choice for driving, exercising,...Read full review »
