“After decades of looking up to you and appreciating your advice, I was shocked when during the podcast series Living By Design, you talked about your latest high school reunion and how you ponied up to former classmates that had made it and blatantly indicated that we all have the same opportunities in life. You proceeded to mention the other groups as if to smack a label on the low-life in the room of those that didn’t “make it” saying that every person in your graduating class walked out that same high school door to go onto their next phase in life Same opportunity, Dr. Phil? That was shocking to hear you as I thought you were dedicated to helping others, instead lumped everyone into one pot thinking that the golden opportunity awaits for everyone all because you attended the same school and walked out the same door. Did ya ever stop to think that race, gender, hunger, disability, child abuse, rape, etc., could have put a large wave into a fellow human beings path? Whoa! I had to rewind and listen to what you seem to believe to be true three times and it made my stomach turn that you honestly believe that equal opportunity is given to all. As a white privileged male you sure have a lot to learn. You owe a big apology to your listeners and especially to your former classmates. For now, I can’t bring myself to listen to any more of what you have to say.”
