enjoy the conversational quality
I’ve been listening for a month. Concerning the topics discussed in these podcasts: well, I have some quarrels with the presuppositions and thoughts of the hosts and guests, but I wouldn’t be listening to them if I agreed with everything they said. I greatly enjoy the conversational quality of these philosophic discussions and the variety. These are interesting podcasts for lovers of philosophy who seek philosophic talk without feeling confined to a classroom atmosphere. That’s a tough task, since philosophy is pretty much confined to the walls of the academy. I hope to see PB improve with expansion and maybe even become an English language alternative to France Culture’s Les Vendredis de la Philosophie.Read full review »
