“After listening to Serial I had high hopes for this genre of podcasting but, this podcast was a bit of a let down. It was one sided and wasn’t ballsy enough to acknowledge the evidence that worked against their own views. I felt that the journos tried to argue that it wasn’t an accident (unsuccessfully) and I found it hard to believe that there was foul play involved. Agreed there were some mistakes made in the initial investigation which left some questions unanswered but I couldn’t help feeling that a cocktail of drugs and alcohol, along with a history of substance abuse and poor mental health likely led to this tragic accident occurring. If there was more to the story I didn’t feel that it was very clearly communicated. My thoughts are with her family who are clearly searching for truth and closure with this matter. RIP Phoebe.”
